Xiao-Xuan Yang Dancigers is a Taiwaness dancer who was nominated for Best Female Dancer in Australia in 2009 and winner of Dance Australia’s Top Dancer to Watch in 2006. She has performed throughout Asia, Europe, Australia and the United States with Australian Dance Theater and Cloudgate 2. Previously she was an Assistant Professor at the Taipei National University of Arts. Xiao-Xuan joined Sarasota Contemporary Dance in September 2012 and in 2013 co-choreographed “Dreamfall” featuring NOW Ensemble with Leymis, and also choreographed 'lipstick', 'faces' and ' under the silence' for In The Round seasons. She assists and substitute teaches the company's Dance for Parkinson's class.
