Rachel Lambright (Dancer) is a graduate of the University of South Florida, earning a BFA in dance performance in 2017. Beginning her training at a young age, she cherished the freedom and confidence dance brought her as she moved around the studio. A native of Sarasota, FL, she attended Booker High School’s Visual and Performing Arts (VPA) program, where her love of movement became a focal point for her future. She followed this love to the University of South Florida, where she presented original choreography and performed in works by OhadNaharin, Robert Moses, Bliss Kohlmyer, Kara Davis, John Parks, Jeanne Travers, Andee Scott, and more. She has performed nationally and abroad at Beijing Dance Academy as part of the International Creative Dance Seminar in 2015, hosted by Beijing Normal University. Rachel has enjoyed sharing her passion in the Sarasota/Bradenton area and finds new inspiration in her students. She joined Sarasota Contemporary Dance as an apprentice in 2017 and became a company dancer in 2018. She is humbled to be part of this community and is grateful for another season of growth and understanding as a dancer, teacher, artist, and human.
