ERIN CRAIG grew up in Ohio, studying ballet under Cassandra Macino. While pursuing mathematics at New College of Florida, she studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance under the tutelage of Summer Lee Rhatigan, Alex Ketley and Christian Burns. At the conservatory, she practiced ballet, Butoh, William Forsythe's improvisational technologies and Ohad Naharin's movement language, Gaga. Erin has performed professionally with Fuzion Dance Artists, Urbanity Dance Project, MorrisonDance, RED Company and The Movement Project, and she has shared her own work at the Boston Contemporary Dance Festival and through Loupe de Loup, an ongoing dance for camera project with videographer Jonny Riese. Erin is a certified barre and TRX instructor. She is happy to return to Sarasota Contemporary Dance for its 10th anniversary season.
